You have inherited the overnight on a small city station, and a note taped to the desk.

Every night runs from midnight to five. You work a real desk: raise the mic to answer, the line to take a caller, and keep the music on the bed mark under talk. Leave the air empty and listeners drift away. Leave a caller on hold and they hang up.

Callers ring in from Harbor Row, the Glass Quarter, Old Mills and the tunnels. Eight come back across the season. Eighty more call once, some for a song, some to talk. Pick a song whose mood fits a request and the caller remembers it.

The map on the wall lights up or dims with what goes out on air. A dark district sends no new callers, a lit one sends extra. Each night ends with a morning paper built from your choices.

After half two, if the song is right, line nine rings. The caller never says where they are, and every detail contradicts the last one.

Thirty nights, over two hours of voiced caller lines, every line subtitled. The free browser demo is night one.

Caller voices are Windows text to speech with a phone filter. The music is generated with ACE-Step from original prompts and is disclosed as AI-generated sound.
