Cable Line

A city climbs a mountain in the dark: the port at the water, the clinic mid slope, the observatory at the top, and thousands of small lights in between. Your job is the cable network that connects them.

Drag a line from station to station and the game finds the towers the slope needs. Every span has a gradient it cannot exceed and a length it cannot hang unsupported, so the mountain decides what is cheap. Passengers arrive by district color and want to go somewhere that makes sense. Add cabins as demand grows, watch them bunch behind a slow boarding, and watch a line stall when it runs full for too long.

Then the night shift bites. A storm is announced twenty seconds before it lands and names the altitude band it will hit. Unshielded spans in that band close. Put windbreak towers on a line ahead of time, or let the rest of the network carry the load. Dawn ends the shift and the ledger tells you which of three goals you met. Two of three opens the next mountain.

Four scenario mountains, an endless ridge, a weekly challenge seeded from the calendar week, and a cinematic mode that rides a cabin along any line. The browser demo is the first mountain. The full game is a Windows download (Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit).

Controls: drag from station to station to draw a line, click a line to select it, right click a span to add a tower, = and - add or remove cabins, W shields the selected line, F fast forwards, C starts the cinematic camera, Esc opens the menu.
